A letter to Lee Preston 23 Nov 1981 from Iva Cook, Rocky Mount, VA, contained the following Wingfield descendants' names (set out against the left column), said to have been taken from "Amherst Co., VA, Deeds 1761-65," by Bailey Fulton Davies, Will 65-D, Book 4, Page 574:
