Helen Elizabeth McLelland, 88, of Prescott and Bridge City, Texas, died Saturday, September 19, 1998, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Mrs. McLelland was born August 26, 1910, in Prescott to Joel and Annie Dixon Wingfield. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph McLelland.

Survivors include two sons, Jack McLelland of Orange, Texas, and Billy Ray McLelland of Bridge City, Texas; one sister, Lois Presley of Delight; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services were Sunday, September 20, at Missionary Grove Cemetery in the Nubbin Hill community with Rev. Harold Presley officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
