Spottswood Old Wingfield died Sunday October 9, 2000 in Richmond, VA. He was born June 9, 1953 and was a graduate of Collegiate School in Hanover, VA and Duke University. He taught math and coached soccer at Lee-Davis High School in Richmond and prior to that worked for IBM for 19 years. He was the son of Dr. (Bill) Wm L. Wingfield, deceased and the co-founder of the WFS. He is survived by his wife, Joan Kendrick Wingfield, two children, Douglas and Elizabeth; his mother Mrs. Charlotte Old Wingfield, his brother Wm Lynn Wingfield, Jr., and two aunts; Mrs. Lois Wickham and Mrs. Roger P. Jones, Sr. William Lynn Wingfield and Lois Wickham are members of the WFS.
